The new style of Magic Bands will not be in use during that time. If you already have your “old” style Magic Bands they will work fine. If an attraction is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment the system will not allow you to make a FastPass reservation for it. Sometimes attractions go down due to malfunctions at the spur ...Read More »

What tips do you have about a possible Walt Disney World vacation in late September/early October 2017? We’d like a moderate hotel and potentially a dining plan.
Late September is a great time to go as far as crowds, but early October starts to see Fall Breaks and growing crowds–discounts reflect this with a good part of October (especially the first half) being excluded from discounts for a couple of years. In September we’ve seen free dining with limited availability–but we never know what Disney is going ...Read More »

Are the first two weeks of August a good time to visit? What about the second week of June?
Hi! This sounds like a very special vacation indeed! Let me answer your questions in order so I don’t forget anything! 1. Disney’s resorts do not offer these discounts, but you can sometimes get them at the Swan & Dolphin (great location just behind Epcot). A lot of times Disney’s public discounts work out nicely also. 2. If you are ...Read More »
We have Park Hopper Tickets with no expiration and want to take advantage of the new deal for Annual Passes for Non-Florida residents. I don’t want to start the clock with the Annual Pass purchase until we arrive, but I want to reserve a FastPass for Soarin’. Can we transfer the FastPass to the Annual Pass when we buy our Annual Pass tickets?
It sounds like you are upgrading your Park Hoppers to an Annual Pass once you arrive, so in that scenario the FastPasses will stay with that ticket and you will not lose the Soarin’ FastPass. As long as you’ve never used any days on the park hoppers you shouldn’t have a problem doing the upgrade at guest services.Read More »
