I heard that there is a way to go on the safari at Animal Kingdom at night and that you are issued night vision goggles. I would like to know if this is true and how do you get on this tour?

There is a night time safari but it is limited to guests of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and ages 8 and up, for $70.00 per person. It begins around 8:30/9PM and lasts a little over an hour. It has had great reviews. The cast members that take you out are very knowledgable regarding the animals. You are supplied with night vision goggles to help you spot the animals after dark.

About Cassie

Cassie L. I am a lifelong Disney fan. I attended Walt Disney World in 1971, and was there during the opening week of EPCOT, and have visited the Disney Parks more than 30 times. I have had the privilege of visiting Disneyland as a child, and then again with my children. My family recently moved from the northeastern United States to the Walt Disney World area. I now have cast members in my family and enjoy hearing the magical stories at the end of a shift. I love visiting all of the parks and getting to try more Disney food and being able to share it with you to help you plan your own magical day at Disney.
