How much does Disney spend annually for fireworks?

As with all things Disney the company is all about keeping things awe inspiring which includes their bottom line, spending habits, population counts and how many people they have working for the company. While everything is a “theory” unless you are a part of the Disney “need to know” list (and it is a very very short list) I have seen estimates that Wishes alone costs anywhere from $41,000-$55,000 a night, so that would be at least $18.25 million a year. If you want to assume that Illuminations at Epcot and Fantasmic are roughly the same, that comes out to $54.75 million a year, and this would not include any special fireworks displays that happen during their Very Merry Christmas or Not So Scary Halloween evening, nor the daytime fireworks that are a part of most of the stage shows performed outside of the Castle in Magic Kingdom.  Rough estimate – $45 million on the conservative side.
