Is it true that they are closing the Imagination Pavilion on January 1st? And if so what is the fate of the “Journey into the imagination” ride with Figment?

While I too have seen tons of rumors about the Imagination Pavilion closing for an extended refurbishment, I have yet to see anything official from Disney confirming it. I personally love the Journey into Imagination with Figment ride and would be sad to see it closed, but truth be told that attraction has some of the shortest lines on property. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for an official announcement if they do opt to close the Pavilion for refurbishment.
